– Kobe Boyce: Som news that went under the radar last night with Texas 2017 CB signee Kobe Boyce.
mama, i'm going to college!!! God is good! pic.twitter.com/QVhO817NjG

I say this because Boyce was one of the main guys that had some grade issues in the 2017 class. He needed to get his test scores up, and it looks like he did just that. I don’t expect Boyce to make much of an impact during his freshman season as he still has a ways to go physically. – (Andrew)
– Malcolm Epps: When Dekaney (TX) TE Malcolm Epps decommitted from Alabama in February, he told me that he’d love the opportunity to play basketball along with football in college. Well earlier this week, Texas A&M was the first to extend him such an offer. The next day, Shaka Smart and Texas did the same…

At 6’6 220, Epps is a really good athlete for his size but to play TE he needs to keep adding some weight. I don’t see a big issue in offering him a baskegball scholarship, as if he does end up playing both sports in college, he will very likely play under a football scholarship. I think the bigger deal with this is just giving him the opportunity to play basketball, as he’s good on the court but his major upside is on the field and I think everyone knows that.
Epps is likely the most realistic target out of the 3 TE’s Texas has offered so far. As Michigan looks like the leader for Mustapha Muhammad and Oregon looks to have made a huge impression on JUCO TE Dominick Wood-Anderson. – (Andrew)
– Tanner McKee: ICYMI, Texas will host Centennial (CA) QB Tanner McKee on Saturday. He is a 2018 recruit, but will take a 2-year Mormon Mission after he graduates and won’t enroll at a school until 2020, and doesn’t have to sign before then. So he is technically a 2020 recruit.
