Jefferson had a standout season, totaling 110 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, four sacks and six quarterback hurries to lead one of the best defensive units in the nation.
Jefferson led, or tied for the team lead in tackles, nine times in 2017 and totaled double-digit tackles six times. He became the first Longhorn since 2014 to reach 100 tackles in a season and currently ranks fourth nationally with his 79 solo tackles.
