– Baron Browning, Marvin Wilson…Alex Leatherwood: In case you missed it, Texas offered 2017 OL and Alabama commit, Alex Leatherwood (Pensacola, FL). On occasion JY is a guest on ESPN radio in Alabama to do offensive line breakdowns. One of his first breakdowns was of Alex Leatherwood who he tells me, “might be the best offensive lineman I’ve seen on film this year”. He has been in communication with Leatherwood since early on in his recruitment.

JY had a chance to ask Alex about the offer. Apparently Alex has gotten to know Baron Browning and Marvin Wilson. Wilson and Browning are the ones pushing Leatherwood to consider Texas. Let that sink in for a minute. If that doesn’t tell you just how interested Browning and Wilson are in Texas, not much else will.

Alex tells JY that while it won’t be a deciding factor, it would be nice to play with Browning and Wilson. Alex said he is undecided on whether he will take a visit to Texas but is considering it. – (Super K, JY)

– Jeffrey Okudah: I am told that last weekend’s game garnered some attention from Jeffrey Okudah. One source said he reached out to the staff but I am unsure about the nature of that communication. I did exchange a few texts with Okudah and I’m hoping to speak to him in the near future about any renewed interest he might have in Texas in. – (Super K)

– Weekend Visitors: Texas will host a few unofficial visitors this weekend, not as big as last weekend though. The biggest Visitors will be QB commit Sam Ehlinger, LB Levi Jones, and OL Stephan Zabie. This is the 2nd straight weekend Ehlinger and Jones are visiting Texas.
