Texas is off to a good start in their 2021 class with the commitment of Skyline (Dallas, TX) 2021 WR Quaydarius Davis. At 6’0” and 190-pounds, “Quay” has all the athletic qualities you could ask for. He is electric off the line, has the ability to produce crisp route-running with his change of direction, and has strong legs and hands. All of this makes it easy for him to get separation one-on-one — either through shear force or shaking the defender — and become a menace after the catch.
Davis projects to be a Z-WR at Texas when he gets on campus.
For a staff that has been much maligned for not being able to capture the Dallas pipeline as well as they should, this is now their second big-time Dallas commit in a week.
