Texas stays hot on the trails! This time with a commitment from 2021 Hallettsville RB Jonathon Brooks.
Brooks, who is listed at 6-feet and 185 lbs, was named the 14–3A MVP in 2019. After looking at his reported numbers, it’s clear to see why he was able to walk away with those honors: 1310 rushing yards, 24 touchdowns on just 138 attempts (9.49 yards per carry).
The Hallettsville product had been a name on Texas’ radar for quite some time and Stan Drayton gets his first RB of the 2021 cycle in the bag.
Brooks is the 10th player in the 2021 class, and the 5th prospect on the offensive side of the ball.
